I've been wearing knee braces for years for my OA and this is the best I've tried at this price. The valgus adjustment makes a real difference — you can feel the pressure shift off the damaged side within a few steps. Stays in place all day without slipping.

OA UNLOADER BRACE
Medical-grade support. Built to redistribute load.
The OrthoLock is an OA unloader knee brace designed to reduce pressure on the affected compartment of the knee joint. The medical-grade shell provides rigid structural support while the internal soft condyle pads and silicone non-slip liners maintain comfort during extended wear. Shown in use in the product images with full strap configuration. Suitable for mild unicompartmental osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, meniscal cartilage conditions, patella protection, joint injury, tendon injury and ligament strain.

VARUS / VALGUS CORRECTION
Alignment adjustment. Dial it in.
The OrthoLock includes a built-in varus/valgus correction mechanism shown in the product specification image. A screwdriver-adjustable dial on the side of the brace allows the correction angle to be set precisely — clockwise to correct valgus alignment, counter-clockwise to correct varus. The correction is applied gradually and can be modified at any time. The adjustment dial is visible on the outer hinge of the brace and requires a standard flathead screwdriver.

6-PART CONSTRUCTION
Medical shell. Flexion blocks. Quick-release buckles.
The OrthoLock is built from six structural components as shown in the product specification image: a medical-grade shell, flexion and extension blocks that control range of motion, quick-release buckles for fast removal, silicone non-slip liners to prevent the brace from shifting during use, soft condyle pads for joint comfort, and six adjustable straps for a secure and customised fit. Available in left and right configurations — sold separately.

7 SUPPORTED CONDITIONS
One brace. Broad application.
The OrthoLock is designed for use across a range of knee conditions confirmed in the product specification image: mild unicompartmental osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bow leg correction, knee conditions requiring load reduction, meniscal cartilage defect repair, avascular necrosis or tibial plateau fracture, and bone-on-bone knee issues. The brace supports patella protection, joint injury, tendon injury and ligament strain. Suitable for men and women. Consult a healthcare professional before use if post-operative or managing a diagnosed condition.

Post-meniscus surgery and this has been essential for getting back to walking confidently. The quick-release buckles are genuinely quick — on and off in under a minute. Solid build and the condyle pads are comfortable enough to wear for several hours.
Well-made and noticeably effective. Takes a few minutes to fit correctly the first time but once you've got the strap tension right it holds well. The adjustment mechanism is a standout feature — I haven't seen it on braces at this price point before.

Frequently asked questions
What is an OA unloader knee brace?
An OA (osteoarthritis) unloader brace is designed to shift load away from the damaged compartment of the knee joint. Rather than compressing the joint uniformly like a standard sleeve, the OrthoLock applies a corrective force via the varus/valgus adjustment mechanism — redirecting pressure toward the healthier side of the joint. This reduces pain during walking and standing by offloading the affected area.
How do I adjust the varus/valgus correction?
The OrthoLock has a screwdriver-adjustable dial on the outer hinge of the brace. Turning it clockwise applies a valgus correction force — pushing the knee inward. Turning it counter-clockwise applies a varus correction — pushing the knee outward. Adjust in small increments and test the fit before use. Refer to the included instruction manual for the recommended starting position and adjustment guidance.
How do I know if I need the left or right version?
The OrthoLock is available in left and right configurations, sold separately. The left version fits the left knee and the right version fits the right knee. Check the product variant selector before adding to cart. If you are unsure, the affected leg is the one with pain or the diagnosed condition.
What knee conditions is it suitable for?
The OrthoLock is designed for mild unicompartmental osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bow leg correction conditions, knee conditions requiring load reduction, meniscal cartilage defect repair, avascular necrosis or tibial plateau fracture, and bone-on-bone knee issues. It also supports patella protection, joint injury, tendon injury and ligament strain. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you are post-operative or managing a diagnosed condition.
Can I wear it all day?
The OrthoLock is designed for extended daily wear. The silicone non-slip liners and soft condyle pads maintain comfort during prolonged use. Start with shorter wear periods to allow the fit to be confirmed and adjusted before wearing for full days. Remove the brace if you experience any unusual pressure, numbness or discomfort and re-check the strap tension and correction setting.
How do I fit the brace correctly?
Position the OrthoLock over the knee with the hinge aligned to the outside of the joint. Secure the six straps from the top down, starting with the upper thigh strap and working toward the lower calf strap. The quick-release buckles click securely into place. The brace should feel firm but not restrictive. Refer to the included instruction manual for full fitting guidance and sizing information before first use.
