The ThermaDual delivers three therapy modes from a single device, as shown in the product images: cold therapy for post-activity recovery, heat therapy for muscle warmth and circulation, and contrast therapy which alternates between cold and heat in sequence. All three modes are accessible via the two buttons on the face of the device — the snowflake button for cold and the sun button for heat. The device attaches to the body via the included adjustable strap and is shown in use on the knee, thigh and shoulder.

The contrast mode is the one I use most — alternate cold and hot on the knee after a long run. Can feel the difference within a session. Battery lasts well and the strap keeps it in place without having to hold it.
