The reverse side (navy) organises 75 stretches by body part: Neck, Shoulders & Arms, Chest, Back, Torso, Abs, Hips, Quadriceps, Hamstrings and Lower Legs. Use the front for a yoga session and flip to the back for a targeted post-session stretch. Both sides are printed directly onto the mat surface.

The FlowGuide is made from PVC with a non-slip surface on both sides. The mat is 6mm thick and 173×61cm — standard yoga mat dimensions that fit most practice spaces. The material is described as environmentally friendly and odourless. The two sides are distinctly coloured — purple and navy — so it is always clear which reference is facing up. A carry strap and bag are included for storage and transport.
DOUBLE-LAYER CONSTRUCTION
The FlowGuide is constructed as a single double-sided mat — not two mats bonded together. The purple yoga pose layer and the navy stretch layer are printed on opposite faces of the same PVC base. The mat rolls cleanly for storage and holds its shape on the floor during use. The illustrations are embedded in the surface and do not peel or wear off with regular practice.

The FlowGuide is described by the manufacturer as odourless. Some PVC mats have a faint smell when first unrolled — if this is the case, leave it unrolled in a ventilated room for 24 to 48 hours before first use. The smell, if any, dissipates quickly and does not return with regular use.
